The Town Council consists of five (5) members, elected from the Town at
large to serve for a term of two (2) years. The Town Council holds b>
regular,
special and work session meetings
on a regular basis. All meetings are open to the
public, except as provided in the State Open Meetings law. Citizens are encouraged to
attend Council meetings and are given an opportunity to be heard. Meetings are posted and
advertised, and a written agenda is available in advance of each meeting. The Town Council
has the authority to enact ordinances and resolutions for the preservation of the public
peace, health, safety, comfort and welfare of the inhabitants of the Town and for the
protection of persons and property.
