By State Law, all dogs over six (6) months of age must be registered in the city/town
where the dog resides. The license year for dogs is from May 1st through April 30th.
To license your dog, you must provide the North Kingstown Town Clerk’s office with a
valid Rabies Certificate which indicates the rabies tag number; the sex and breed of dog;
the owner thereof; the type of vaccination given; and the expiration date of the vaccine.
The license fee is $8.00.
Renewal notices are sent out in mid-March and can be processed by mail or in person.
