 Sewer Construction Update:

  • The contractors will be working on West Main Street from Newtown Avenue to Brown Street with alternating traffic on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
  • On Thursday and Friday, West Main Street is anticipated to be closed to traffic from Newtown Ave to Brown Street in order to install the longer laterals.
  • The road between Wilson Park and Intrepid Road continues to be closed daily for safety reasons as they work on the pump station.

Sewer Construction Update:
• Work will continue with alternating traffic with police details and signage during the hours of 7am -5pm daily. 
• The contractor will finish the sewer forcemain on Phillips Street. 
• They will complete the rest of the service laterals Brown Street and Phillips Street. 
• Work on West Main Street will only come after Brown and Phillips Streets are done, beginning with installing service laterals. West Main Street will be open during this work.
