The Town of North Kingstown
engaged the
firm of Cecil Group, Inc. to assist in the preparation of a Corridor
Plan for Post Road from the East Greenwich Town Line to the State Police
Barracks just south of Stony Lane. The study had the following objectives:
1. Build on the Post Road Element that is a part of
the North Kingstown
Comprehensive Plan.
2. Set a vision for the future of the
corridor in terms of design, land use, and transportation improvements needed to
implement the vision.
3. Explore the potential for the Post Road corridor to
be a Growth Center for North Kingstown.
