 NORTH KINGSTOWN RECYCLING PROGRAM :

ATTENTION RESIDENTS!

Beginning September 1, 2010, Coastal Recycling Inc. will be providing curbside collection of residential recycling for the Town of North Kingstown.  The Town would like to thank Waste Management for the professional service they have provided to the residents of North Kingstown since 2001.

Coastal Recycling Inc. and the Department of Public Works asks residents to be patient while the Contractor learns the routes.  Please remember, this is a new company and it may not service routes at the same times Waste Management did.  Residents are reminded to have bins curbside by 7:00 a.m. on their collection day to ensure pick-up.

Residents are asked to contact the Recycling Office at 268-1500, x601 with questions or issues that may arise during the transition process.  Once the operation is running smoothly, residents are asked to contact Coastal Recycling Inc. Dispatch at (800) 266-3188 with complaints/missed pick-ups.

The Town of North Kingstown participates in the Maximum Recycling Program with the Rhode Island Resource Recovery Corporation.  Residents are encouraged to recycle whenever possible.  Blue and Green Recycling Bins are available at the Public Works Facility located at 2050 Davisville Road.  Please contact the Recycling Coordinator for further information on obtaining recycling bins.
