RECYCLE USED CLOTHING AND SHOES
Residents may recycle gently used clothing and shoes
at the North Kingstown Transfer Station. The Town has partnered with
Planet Aid, Inc., a non-profit organization that collects and recycles used
clothing and shoes in 19 states across the USA. For more information

USED BOOKS FOR CHARITY COLLECTION

AVAILABLE AT THE TRANSFER STATION
The Town of North Kingstown is partnering with
HANDS
ACROSS THE WATER INC. for a used book for charity collection
program. A container is available at the Transfer Station for residents
to dispose of all hard cover and paperback books. All types of books are
acceptable; books on tape and DVD are also acceptable. Residents are
asked to bring items in BOXES to be stacked inside the container. HANDS
ACROSS THE WATER INC. is a non-profit organization that collects and
distributes used books of all types to libraries and schools in Mississippi
and Appalachia, in Africa and the poorer countries of Asia and eastern Europe.
