CHANGES BEGINNING JULY 2008
The North Kingstown Senior Association (NKSA)
finds it necessary to increase membership dues because of increased mailing
costs.
The $5.00 dues have been in effect over 28
years. In those 28+ years, the U.S. Postal Service has increased rates over
270%, with another increase coming this summer.
NKSA will also make a one time change in the
membership period. This change puts membership on a January-December calendar
year and be easier for you to remember to renew.
Changes for July 1, 2008:
1. Dues: $10.00 for period July 2008-December 2009 (18
months) $10 annually thereafter.You must renew by July 31,
2008 to receive your August 2008 newsletter.
2. Period of Membership:
Starting July 2008 your card will be good
until December 2009. On January 1, 2010 your membership card will be good for
one year.
Checks are
payable to NKSA.
Membership volunteers are
available to process your membership Monday thru Friday 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
NEW and RENEWAL MEMBERS: Please come into the Senior Center, 10 Beach
Street, North Kingstown,
to complete your form or call 268-1590 to have one mailed to you.
A new
registration form must be completed annually
