POLICE OFFICER

NORTH KINGSTOWN RI

Town of North Kingstown is seeking qualified candidates to establish eligibility list.  Candidates must be United States citizens, have no criminal convictions, hold valid driver’s license, have minimum of 60 college credits and must pass physical agility test, written test, and psychological exam.  In lieu of college credits, two years of military experience including Reserves or National Guard with honorable discharge is accepted.

Copies of birth certificates or naturalization papers and copies of driver’s licenses must accompany completed applications.  Official transcript must be sent from college directly to Police Department 8166 Post Rd, North Kingstown, RI 02852 and/or military service discharge document (DD-214).

Salary:  $38,524 - $52,681, plus benefits.  Applications available at Town Hall Town Clerk’s Office and Town Manager’s office and/or at www.nkpolice.org to be submitted to Town Manager's Office, 80 Boston Neck Rd., North Kingstown, RI 02852.  Application period closes November 30, 2008.
