Water Rates 

    On May 10, 2004 the North Kingstown Town Council approved a five-year water rate schedule.  While water rates will rise over the next five years, the rates are still among the lowest in the state.  The water use rate is currently $2.40 per 1,000 gallons with a flat service charge of $13.49 per quarter.  Rates will increase to $2.50 per 1,000 gallons with a quarterly service charge of $13.72 for the June 2007 water bill.  A copy of the water rate schedule is included on the back of your water bill. North Kingstown bills for water on a quarterly basis in March, June, September and December.
